How do I claim my charity?


  • First, go Here to locate and claim your charity on CrowdRise. Search for your charity by name, keywords or Tax ID (the easiest way is to search by your Tax ID (EIN). 
  • Once you locate your charity, hit the CLAIM THIS CHARITY button and enter your contact information as prompted. Be sure to use an email and phone number where we can really reach you. 
  • On the next page, you'll fill out your contact information, and then choose whether you want to be on the Tre or the Fiver account. With the Tre, we guarantee a 3% effective rate.  That means that your charity receives at least $97 of every $100 raised.  And that includes credit card fees.  The Tre costs $50/month and we'll give it to you for free for the first month so you can try it out. If you choose the Fiver account, we guarantee a 5% effective rate, including credit card fees. That means you'll keep at least $95 out of every $100 raised.  This plan is free.   • In order to protect your charity's privacy and security, we'll contact you through the phone number listed with GuideStar or on your Charity's website or via email that we get from your Charity's website to give you a super secret Pin Number which you'll use to complete the Charity Sign Up process. All of this can be done in about 2 minutes and then your charity can start your own fundraising campaigns or events, and start turning your grassroots supporters into grassroots fundraisers. The super secret Pin Number is needed if you want to have access to your Report Center and other very valuable tools.
